†Marshall and Donets tied for the 6th most FINA points of their highest scoring event. Per the rules, the tie was broken on the basis of their second highest scoring event, which was the 100 backstroke for both swimmers. Marshall won the event in 49.49 for 1028 points, Donets was second in 50.12 for 990 points. Thus, Marshall received 6th place points and Donets 7th place points
